We manufacture long length cable with 2mm or 5mm strand width. Cables have flexible current ratings from 200A to 2kA. The cable comes with extruded or wrapped insulation. The cable is mechanically flexible as all strands experience equal strain when coiled.

Wire qualification

We use wire from the manufacturer of your choice, which is screened at 1mm2 resolution using magnetic scanning to check for defects before embarking on any project.

Cabling Process

We have developed automated methods for cutting and cabling YBCO 2G wire. We make continuous strands as long as wire piece lengths allow. By splicing we can make cable of lengths up to 400m.

Insulation of cable

Our cables feature extruded or wrapped insulation with BDV up to 1kV. Individual strands can be insulated to ensure full decoupling.
